An action is an operation defined for an entity in the grid. The action can be executed when the Actions option is available for the entity. For example, if a drillthrough action is defined for data cells, you can drill a data cell down to the raw data at the base of the cell value.
To execute an action:
1. Click the entity (data cell, member) to display the Actions option and select it.
2. In the actions list window, choose the action to execute and click OK.
