The search box on the Application Bar can be used to quickly find dimension members in the current workboard and in the Workboard Slicers Pane.

You can conduct the search in a specific dimension or in all the dimensions available in the Workboard Slicers Pane.

When you find a member you can use it directly from the search results to slice the view data.

To search for a member:

1.Click the Search Options  button and select Search in Workboard.

2.To search in a specific dimension, open the dropdown list, choose a dimension and click OK.



To search in all dimensions, skip this step.

3.Type in the search text and click the Start Search  button (or press Enter):

When searching in all dimensions, the results will contain up to 10 members in each dimension.

Selecting a member highlights the components where that member is displayed or sliced:

To slice data by a member from search results:

Select that member. To slice by more than one member, select each of the members. Click OK.

If you select a member that is displayed in a grid, member selection is performed in that grid.
