Data sources are organized in a tree structure (like files and folders). You can place them in the public folder, available for all, or in a private folder for personal use.
The procedure for creating a new data source is similar to creating other Necto administration entities: You create an empty data source, name it and save it. Then, you fill in the data source details.
To create a new data source:
1.Click the New
button on the Application Bar or select New from the options menu in the Data Sources Pane..png)
2.In the Select the data type dialog box, select: Analysis Services Data Source, Relational Database Data Source, Excel or CSV Data Source, or Reporting Services Data Source.
