Automatic Slicing

Slicing will be performed automatically in the following cases:

·         If your application is set to “keep slicers between workboards”, then any slicing you perform in a workboard will automatically apply to other workboards you open. Even when you use the Reload  option, the current workboard will reload with the slicing performed in a previous workboard.

·         If you have selected the Use topics to auto-filter the workboard data option while defining personal topics in User Settings, Necto will automatically slice workboard data by members whose names are the same as those of the topics.

You can remove automatic slicing in one of the following ways:

·         Hold down Shift and click Reload . This reloads the current workboard in its last-saved state, ignoring the slicing that comes from another workboard or from topics.

·         Set the Workboard property Ignore Incoming Slicers in the Workboard section of the Properties Pane to Yes.
