CONTENT SECURITY - PERMISSIONS

Necto security contains two layers: content security and data security. Content security defines access rights to workboards and other Necto entities. Content security allows workboards to be segmented according to functional areas and organizational hierarchy. For example, certain workboards containing high-level strategic indicators might be visible only to executives.

Both security layers are implemented by user roles and role-based permissions. This chapter explains how to assign role-based permissions to Necto entities in order to ensure content security.
