Define the Period

In the area below data selections, define the period for which you want to fetch the value.

Return Value For

Choose the relevant period option. For example, if you’re looking for the change in sales from a previous period, choose: Change from previous period.

Period Dimension

Select a time dimension to work with. When set to Auto, Necto will refer to the first time dimension in the slicers of the workboard.

N Periods Back

Specify the number of periods to go back (for previous and parallel).

Selected Period

Choose the period to refer to. When set to Auto, Necto will refer to the period currently sliced in the workboard.

Last period means the last period of the currently sliced level; for example, if you’re sliced on a certain year, the data comes from the latest year.

Last Period – Y/Q/M/D/H, means the latest period for the level you chose.
