MANAGING APPLICATIONS

An application is an entity that defines a work environment for users and determines which public workboards will be presented to those users and how they will look.

Applications allow you to segment workboards according to different sets of use cases. There can be a single cross-organizational application with unified look and contents, or there can be different applications with completely different look and contents for different departments or for various needs.

The users who are allowed to work with an application and their access rights are defined by assigning role permissions to the application. Necto is supplied with a default application with Read permission for all users (Role=Everyone). A user can be associated with different applications.

To work with applications, click Applications  on the Management page ribbon.
