The Infographics Component presents data from a data source via predesigned infographics entities. Infographics are visual representations of data that convey information quickly and effectively using graphic elements, text and animation. They provide insight into the data they present based on the business logic defined while designing the infographics. Infographics are designed via the Infographics Designer.
An infographics entity belongs to an infographics family that is connected to a data source. An infographics entity may contain several graphic objects.
The infographics component interacts with the slicers of the data source to which it is connected. You can slice the infographics data in the same way as you slice a view, a chart or a map: from the Slicers Pane, from a Navigation Component or from the Dimensions Selector.
