The procedure for creating a new data security definition is similar to creating other Necto administration entities: You create an empty data security definition, name it and save it. Then, you define the data security settings.
To create a new data security definition:
1. Click the New button on the Management page ribbon or select New from the options menu in the Data Security Pane.
2. In the Create New Data Security Definition dialog box, enter a name and click OK.
The definition will be added to the Data Security Pane, and the settings tabs will appear on the page.
3. Define the security mode and scope in the Mode & Scope tab and the Data Access Rights in the Data Access Rights tab.
4. Use the Save option on the Application Bar to save the definition.
