There are two ways to process the production model for changes after having published it:
· Auto: In cases where the data has been changed by adding new records, Necto identifies the changes according to the number of rows in the tables, and performs the process automatically.
· Always: Choose this option for processing the model when the data inside the tables has changed.
When a user opens a workboard based on a Necto model, the server checks the last time the model was processed and compares it to the current time. If more than N hours (default=2 hours) have passed from the last process, Necto checks if processing is needed. If processing is needed, Necto processes the production model automatically.
Choose one of the possible options:
· Server defined: The server will look for data updates every 2 hours. The default time period is defined in the configuration file under the Panorama folder: Panorama/E-BI/Cube Service/Panorama.Cube.Services.exe.config.
· User defined: Enter the number of hours you want.
· Scheduled: Select this option to use the Scheduler (available only for the administrator).
· Never: The model will never be processed (available only for the administrator).
Model data that has not been used for a given time period (default=1 week), is automatically deleted. The model is not lost. When a user opens a workboard based on a deleted model, the model is recreated. This takes a little longer than loading an active model.
Choose one of the possible options:
· Server defined: Model will be deleted after 1 week. The default time period is defined in the configuration file under the Panorama folder: Panorama/E-BI/Cube Service/Panorama.Cube.Services.exe.config.
· User defined: Enter the number of weeks you want.
· Never: Model will never be deleted (available only for the administrator).
